SwiftplusSWiftPlus Changing Consultant and Speciality

If a patients care changes from one consultant/speciality to another this information must be entered as soon as possible onto SwiftplusSWiftPlus.

• From the ward view left click on your patient and select the ‘Transfer’ option from the drop down list.
• Confirm the patient’s identity; the system will present you with the Transfer screen.
• If you are only updating the consultant click the Next button and select the relevant consultant from the drop down list of ‘Consultant Responsible’ . Click OK
• To update both the specialty and consultant click on the drop down arrow and select the specialty from the New Specialty drop down list. You will be presented with a new drop down list of ‘Consultant Responsible’ select your consultant.
• Do not change the Treatment number.
• Click OK
