Change the quality of your video
To give you the best viewing experience, YouTube adjusts the quality of your video stream based on your viewing conditions. This is why you may notice that the quality of your video changes as you watch videos.
Here are some factors that determine video quality:

You can manually adjust the video quality of any video that you're watching on a computer or mobile device.
To adjust video quality while watching on your mobile device:

Note: Choosing lower video quality (such as 480p) will make videos start more quickly but at a reduced quality. We suggest either leaving setting at Auto or manually setting the highest option available. The video player will remember this setting for future videos that you watch. Only reduce quality if you have a network problem, remembering to change it back to auto after problem has been resolved.
Full screen mode
Watch in full screen
When in full screen mode, you can scroll down to access comments and to see what videos are up next. Scroll back up to hide everything but the video.
Exit full screen
At the bottom of the video player, click 'Exit full screen' You can also exit full screen by pressing 'Esc' on your keyboard.
If you have problems viewing videos, make sure that you have the most up-to-date version of your browser.
