Patient Administration System (PAS) - Modules
Training and Account
Patient Administration System is made up of different modules, your job role will dictate what modules are required. Before a PAS account can be gained training and passing an assessment is required for majority of the modules.
Training is mainly conducted within the classroom environment, but if elearning options are available you will find that option below, you only need to undertake one method.
PAS Introduction
Before completing any PAS Modules, it is recommended that you review the PAS Introduction first.
PAS B E A
For staff who need to maintain an Inpatient waiting list.
PAS Enquiry
For staff who only need to view information regarding patient demographic details, Outpatient clinics, patient appointments, Inpatient stay movements and print labels
PAS Inpatient
For all administration staff who need to admit, transfer, discharge, confirm patient admission, change consultant and specialty, correct consultant/specialty and Swiftplus.
PAS Outpatient
All staff who need to manage Outpatient appointments and waiting lists (Pending lists)
PAS Outpatient Manager
The PAS Outpatient Managers course is a restricted access module and runs ad-hoc on application and only after authorisation has been approved. Training team on your behalf will obtain authorisation. The course is customised for applicants and can cover amend, changing clinic slots, appointment letter and audit trail.
PAS Patient Registration
For Staff who need to amend or add patient demographic details, register in county, out of county and overseas patients..
PAS Realtime Bed Management
For nursing staff who need to be able to admit, transfer and discharge patients. Also incorporates PAS Tracer.
PAS SWiftPlus
For staff who want to access Swiftplus on a PC/laptop. User will require a PAS Enquiry account at the minimum
PAS Tracering
Staff who need to view casenote locations, request notes from file in Medical Records, create individual and batch tracers.
