Emailing Individual documents via Maxims

You will be unable to email individual documents in Maxims from Kiosk machines as these use a generic profile.

Before attempting to email any documents from within Maxims, it is essential to make sure you have your outlook email client open and are logged into your NHS mail account. If you need help setting up Outlook please call the Cornwall I T Services Servicedesk on telephone extension 1 7 1 7 .

When you go to email a document and select Send Copy this will open an Outlook message window.

If you are not logged in to Outlook the mail will sit in the Outbox folder in Outlook and WILL NOT SEND until the you log into your Outlook client. This risks the mail not being sent.
Cornwall I T Services advise to always check that your correspondence has sent when mailing individual documents by checking the Sent email box in Outlook.
