Welcome to the E P M A (Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration) Inpatient Prescriber training!
NOTE: to pass you will need to watch all of the videos regardless of your role.
Objectives
In this module you will learn:
- Accessing E P M A via Maxims
- Modifying patient data including Allergies and VTE Assessments
- Prescribing medication
- Modifying existing prescriptions, viewing previous patient spells and checking administrations
- Suspending or discontinuing medication
- Adding notes and additional instructions to prescriptions
- Prescribing discharge medications (TTAs)
