SwiftplusSWiftPlus Allocating a bed

This can be used when a patient has been admitted to the ward but not allocated a bed. The patient will appear in the Awaiting Bed Allocation section at the top of the screen.

• Left click on the patient and select Allocate Bed.
• Confirm the identity of the patient. A list of available beds will be displayed with the most appropriate beds at the top of the display.
• Click on the bed you wish to select. The system will return you to the ward display and the patient will have been moved from the Awaiting Bed Allocation to the bed you have selected.
