Clinically Ready for Discharge

This function should be used when a patient is ready to be discharge from hospital but are unable to leave hospital due to outside circumstances.

This information can be recorded via the Inpatient Stay Movements screen (H I S M).

From the PAS IP Basic menu, select Inpatient Stay Movements (H I S M) and Search for and select the patient. This will take you to the Inpatient Stay Movements screen.

From the prompts at the bottom of the screen enter C L D for CLinically ready for Discharge.

Date Ready, – Enter the date the patient is ready to be discharged.

Reason not discharged, – Press the F1 key to select a reason for the patient not being discharged.

Type Ay and press the return key to Accept the details.
