PAS Introduction - Alerts
Estimated Reading Time: 1 MinutesThis is the generic email account that must be used to notify the Records Management Team of any requests for alerts. Alerts are recorded in PAS and are then pushed through to Maxims and Oceano for clinicians to see. There are a number of reasons for the use of alerts including Safeguarding, legal reasons such as Power of Attorney, Advance Decisions, Parental Responsibility and Consent to Share Information.
Some alerts require an action, usually a contact telephone number to notify of an admission or for further information. Please ensure that you take notice of patient alerts.
