Yes. This is part of a national strategy to digitally provide more joined up and coordinated care for individuals. There is a longer-term goal of linking shared care systems up, allowing professionals delivering care to see an individual’s record regardless of where they live. This will help where people are moving across geographies when receiving care, or when they are on holiday.
