Maxims upgrade to version 16

This upgrade moves Maxims to a more stable platform, including a switch to using the Microsoft Edge browser. There are also minor enhancements to how Maxims talks to other systems, and several small bug fixes and enhancements. One of the bigger changes is with emailing copies of documents from Maxims, please note that the process for sending letters to GPs is not changing. Our Correspondence learning module has been updated to include the new emailing method. The new results tab will now default to “My Results” so you will not need to change this. There will be a new desktop icon for Maxims v16.

Maxims v16 icon

This icon will be pre-applied to desktops over the course of this week. After the upgrade, this will also be available in the Application Catalog. Use of the ‘Maxims Prescribers’ icon is no longer necessary, as prescribing links are available via standard Maxims access. For users who use Maxims via Citrix (our remote access portal) a ‘Maxims V16 (Citrix)’ icon will also be made available. Maxims V16 has a refreshed login screen and user interface. The remaining functionality has not changed, the elearning modules will be updated to Maxims version 16 in due course.
